moderan is the online handle of Duane Pesice, a writer and musician currently living in upstate New York. The name is derived from a book by the late David R. Bunch, published by Avon in 1971 and undeservedly forgotten.
Duane has published a great many stories, poems, and articles under a variety of pseudonyms. He has also published @60 songs and has one CD to his credit. He plays the guitar, bass, sings, and dabbles in keyboards. He also plays software.
He is the former fiction editor and webmaster of the ezine site Letters from Outside and has been the editor and/or webmaster of several sites that sadly no longer exist.
He lives with his gorgeous girlfriend, five cats, two rabbits, four computers, and a good many books in a place that’s too small for the lot.
He is a member of the Acid Exchange, a group of musicians that share views and interests in their forum and are dedicated to the promotion of good music everywhere.
