Well…we made it. The trip officially started October 27 at @4:30 pm EST and ended 10/30 @5:00 pm MST. It covered all or parts of the states of New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Arizona, and took a little over 48 hours actual driving time.

Having just paid the deposit on the movers and rental car, I can safely say that our move is official. On my 48th birthday, October 29, we’ll take possession of the premises in Arizona and start moving in our kit and kaboodle.

It doesn’t look like there’ll be any legal work involved in the ceiling case. Not enough money to bother with. I’ll post the whole story eventually. Everyone survived, and that’s the important part.
